Processing and supported inputs

How it works

The generator uses a locally maintained snapshot of released browser builds, limited by operating-system support. It deliberately includes full Chrome build numbers for testing, although modern Chrome normally hides them in its default User-Agent. OS and device tokens may still be reduced, so different selected OS versions can produce the same string. Safari uses its own format. No value is sent to a server.

Formats & compatibility

macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and Linux patterns; text or JSON output; one to 500 values per batch.

Privacy and file processing

This is a product introduction page and does not accept or process tool input. The independent tool may process data locally or on a server. Review its processing and privacy notice before selecting files or entering sensitive data; its behavior has not been verified here.

Privacy

Free · Generated strings are representative test values, not a record of installed browsers or a guarantee of compatibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does changing a user agent change a browser's capabilities?

No. A user-agent string is only one request header. Test actual browser features and server behavior separately.
