Processing and supported inputs

How it works

The browser requests the selected country's latest available IPv4 prefixes from the RIPEstat Country Resource List API. It samples usable host addresses in proportion to range size, excludes each range's network and broadcast addresses, and removes duplicates within the batch. Only the selected country code is sent to RIPEstat; generated addresses stay in your browser.

Formats & compatibility

Country or region selection; 1–500 random IPv4 addresses per batch; unique results within a batch; copy and text or JSON download. Requires a connection to RIPEstat for the first request for a selected country.

Privacy and file processing

The selected country code is requested from RIPEstat. Address generation and export run in your browser; generated addresses are not sent to BytHut.

Privacy

Free · The country indicates the resource registration record, not verified current geolocation. An address may be unrouted, reassigned, offline, or in use by someone else. The output is not a proxy or an address you own; do not probe or use it without authorization.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every generated IP currently belong to the selected country?

No. RIPEstat derives the country resource list from RIR registration statistics. Registration country can differ from current network location.

Can I use a generated IP as my own public IP?

No. These are existing registered address-space samples, not allocated to you. Generating one does not grant access or ownership.
